An idiom is a phrase or expression whose meaning cannot be understood from the literal meanings of its individual words. Instead, it has a figurative meaning that is culturally understood by native speakers. "Jump on the bandwagon" is an example of an idiom beginning with J.- Jump on the bandwagon means to join others in doing something that's currently popular.
